There’s more to recommend at Vašíček winery in the Nechory wine cellar area than just the high-quality wine. You can stay there too, and it makes a relaxing base for a holiday, including bike rides around Prušánky. The owner is friendly, knows his field well, and gives customers a remarkable amount of attention. If you’re into wine, it’s well worth a visit.

What a letdown. It was 6:00 PM, the signs all said they were open, and there was nobody around, even though the TV was on. The awards on the walls suggest the wine is high quality, but there was no chance to taste any.

We’re already looking forward to coming back in September. The people were wonderful, the accommodation impeccable, and the service comfortable. The winery’s wines are top-notch, and we were very satisfied. Many thanks for the excellent work, Mr. Vašíček.

We came back after years and left very disappointed. Beer was 30 CZK, but although the ticket said 0.5l, we got 0.4l and an apology. The 0.2l of burčák for 35 was usury, and it wasn’t worth anything. We won’t return. There are better places elsewhere.

The guesthouse sits in a quiet spot in the Nechory wine-growing area, with good accommodation and a friendly, homely feel. They serve traditional Moravian food, and there’s also a winery producing quality Moravian wines.
