Premium Hotel Znojmo

The rooms are roomy enough for a couple of days, and the beds are very comfortable. If you’re after a nice hotel in Znojmo, this is the right address. The shower and toilet setup in the pictures may look concerning, but the bathroom door, which is part of the shower, can close completely. Just keep in mind that if someone showers with the door shut, the toilet is left “open.” We didn’t have any major issue with it. Breakfast was okay overall. I’d expected more fruit than one big bowl of cut fruit in their sauces, plus some apples in a separate bowl. I was also a little disappointed that the croissants weren’t refilled on Sunday, even though it was only 9:30 and breakfast officially ran until 10:00. The wellness area is quaint. I didn’t use the pool or jacuzzi, but a friend said it’s possible to swim a little once all the small screaming children have gone for the day, ideally after 19:00. The sauna area was alright too, though I agree with other guests that wellness should be free for hotel guests given the room price. I had a full body aroma massage, and it was divine. Martin, the massage therapist, was very skilled and found my problem areas without me having to say anything. I highly recommend booking a session with him.

Management had no interest in addressing our concerns. There was no apology or attempt to fix anything, only excuses and no willingness to take responsibility. The room also fell well short of what the online presentation led us to expect: it was questionable in cleanliness, dated, and much less comfortable than a four-star hotel should be. We didn't feel welcome at any point, either as guests or as paying customers. Reception and other staff were unhelpful and unprofessional, often indifferent and at times close to rude. I wouldn't recommend Hotel Premium Znojmo, and we won't be coming back.

We were charged another €100 at checkout for the wellness area, even though reception had told us it would be free because it had just been renovated and the water was too cold. We only used it once. When we tried to go a second time, it was packed, so we left, but were still charged for that visit. The hotel itself is large and well kept, but the wellness space is much too small for the property. I also asked for a foot massage and was turned down rudely. The staff member seemed annoyed, especially after finding out I was pregnant. The whole service felt disorganized and unfriendly, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The rooms are great, but although I booked for three people, there were just two beds. One was comfortable and the other really wasn't. The pool for children up to 15 is only open until 7:00 p.m. (19:00).
