Horni P. itself is nice, but I can't recommend this place. The prices felt about 70% too high for the Czech Republic, and the service left us disappointed. We asked to have two beds pushed together and got no answer. My bike was stolen outside the bike room, right where the surveillance camera points. We were told, "sorry, friend who operates the camera does not answer," and got no further help afterward.

The portions were generous and tasty, and the restaurant is right by the lake in a perfect location. But service was much too slow. We were seated on the terrace and had to go inside to place our food order.

We stayed for two nights and were very satisfied. The room was spacious and bright, with a large bathroom and a little terrace overlooking the sandy beach on the lake. The hotel is in a perfect spot, with free parking and nice staff. There's a restaurant and a pleasant terrace, which closes at 10pm, so nights are quiet. The village is a 10-minute walk away. Highly recommend it.

The staff were nice, but I wouldn't return. We waited ages for our food, and some of what we'd ordered was no longer available, so we had to change the order. The Bramborove knedliky weren't edible, though they did replace them. They also mixed up orders between our two groups.

I can't recommend it. Even with the restaurant completely empty, we waited about 10 minutes to order. The cesnecka was extremely salty, and the bread wasn't roasted properly. It went soggy and was inedible. A glass of lemonade that looked like it was from previous guests stayed on our table the whole time. I asked the waitress whether boat rides from Horni Plana were still running. She said they'd ended in August, but that wasn't true, we're on a boat right now.
