Penzion Rozalie

A disaster. Maybe worth considering as a joke. The room was cold when we arrived, windows were open everywhere, and a spider greeted us between the doors. There was mold, dust, mess, and spiders all over. The towels smelled, there was no toilet paper, and plenty more was wrong. We paid 3000,- for the night, everything included, and lasted only 20 minutes in the room. We called the gentleman to say we really weren’t going to sleep there. He replied, “I don’t know, you probably discussed this with a colleague,” which honestly nearly made me cry. I’m attaching a photo and hope this place won’t be offered to anyone else, and that it warns others.

We booked at Šejko guesthouse but were put up at Rozalie guesthouse instead. Sadly, the other reviews seem right. The shower barely had any water, and the apartment was shabby, very dated, and musty, with cobwebs everywhere. It was cold, and we had trouble getting the heating on. I absolutely don’t recommend it.

There was no hot water in the room, and the toilet kept leaking. The kitchen had no working lights, and the dishes were in terrible condition. Cobwebs like fishing nets were everywhere, the blinds were broken, and the owner’s price was higher than on booking. The beds creaked, and I won’t even get started on the mattresses and duvets.

The bathroom was in decent shape, but the rest of the accommodation was disastrous. There was mold in the corners, around eight spiders behind the chair and two more in every corner. It hadn’t been cleaned, the trash was a mess, and there were no spoons, knives, or forks. The TV didn’t work either, and we found leftover fish and a dead spider in the fridge. Five thousand for four people for two nights seems excessive for a place this unclean.
