Villa Maya

Really lovely apartments and garden, with a great barbecue area.

There’s a garden with outdoor seating, a barbecue, and a play area for children, and the accommodation itself is beautiful with above-standard equipment. All of that at a reasonable price. I can definitely recommend it.

The owners have put together helpful information boards with everything you need to know about trips, Villa Maya, and more, which I really appreciated. The area around the guesthouse also has good everyday amenities. The accommodation is clean, spacious, and nicely equipped, with dishes, tea towels, towels, a spring, scissors, a scraper, a coffee maker, and board games. We appreciated having all that. The garden is nice for sitting in the rustic-style kitchen and enjoying an evening, but it’s oddly cut off from the house. You have to walk around the whole building along the road to reach it, and that road is quite busy, so don't expect quiet if your windows face it. In summer, the grillhouse gets close to 50 degrees and the windows only open for ventilation, which makes it almost unusable. I imagine it would be very pleasant in winter; in summer an ordinary outdoor fireplace would probably be enough. The garden kitchen is missing cutlery and glasses. The garden house made of imitation wood, plastic swing, and children's playhouse look tasteless to me, though the children liked them, especially the trampoline. They care about how things work, not the style. Overall, I recommend it.

V. Maya has a garden with a barbecue and activities for small children, plus a washing machine, dryer, and refrigerator in the room. Bikes can be kept in a locked room. We had a relaxing holiday and beautiful summer weather.
