Penzion Ranch

I was there for six days on a business trip. The rooms were nicely furnished, very clean, and had comfortable beds and practical bathrooms. A kettle and small fridge would have been useful, though. The service was friendly, the breakfasts were good, and the ranch views were gorgeous. There's a large parking lot, and it made a great base. We'd stay overnight again if we're in the area.

Horses, hills, and real peace and quiet give this place a special soul. The owners were very hospitable, the staff were nice, and the rooms were clean with good breakfasts. As an HSK Supervisor, I noticed there was no fridge, kettle, hair dryer, or iron in the room. We didn't ask, and perhaps those can be requested at reception. My husband and I hope to return. Thank you, we recommend this beautiful place ☺️

Our room was in the old part above the restaurant, not the new hotel section. It was dated and noisy, with very old appliances. The TV was barely useful, and a lamp had exposed wires that gave one of us, thankfully not a child, a bad shock. The stairs and hallway were dark and somewhat dangerous at night. There was little for children despite the ranch and family facilities marketing, just a small slide and a tiny kids' corner in the restaurant. We could see the horses from the restaurant and outside, but nobody offered a closer look or a ride for the kids. There was also never anyone around to ask. We weren't greeted on arrival. When someone eventually appeared, the welcome was cursory. We didn't see the manager again during our two-night stay until we asked for the wine included with our voucher, and she didn't speak to us then either. The restaurant food was pretty good and reasonably priced, but the staff were unfriendly and didn't seem interested in making dining pleasant. The service and management were terrible, and there were hardly any facilities. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying at Penzion Ranch.

The beds were excellent, but the rooms were so noisy that you could hear toilets, showers, and everything else going on in the bathrooms next door. The place is very basic, and the staff made us feel unwelcome. Bar prices were quite high too, so the whole stay was disappointing. We definitely won't come back to this hotel or pension.
