The hosts have been so kind and attentive every time I’ve stayed, both with family and friends. We loved it on every visit. It’s a charming place, especially if you’re into wine, and the location works perfectly for cycling or exploring the area ✨

We really liked staying here. There’s parking right beside the accommodation, a little pub, and a playground. The cellar is lovely, and the owner was great to communicate with. Air conditioning is a big help on hot days, though we didn’t get to use the hot tub. It’s just a shame the wine selection doesn’t include more winemakers.

The cellar is beautiful and well located, and the setting and wine are why we go to Moravia. Still, I’ve returned twice and the extra charges are hard to understand. The owners don’t make their own wine, but sell good wines from nearby wineries at a higher price, which makes sense if they pay for the stock. But why charge separately for electricity when using the jacuzzi or sauna, or for using the outdoor grill? At 3200,- a night, once you add it all up, the stay costs about as much as a hotel. On Friday we had a bath, grilled some food, and sat by the fireplace in the common room. We spent a bit more than planned, but that’s part of why we come to Moravia. On Saturday morning, after we slept in, the owner came to check the jacuzzi and work on it. Fair enough, but did he need to go inside for cleaning products during our stay? He cleaned the filter, added chemicals, and left. That evening, the water was cloudy. We figured we’d been a bit naughty the night before. Once we turned on the bubbles, it foamed so much it looked like a whole jar had been poured in, with foam spreading all over the surface. We assumed too many chemicals had been added. When we checked out the next day, they charged us for energy and an extra water change, 1000,-. We didn’t want an argument and agreed. The owner said he’d never seen that happen before and that we were the first. But sir, you don’t remember us, and you charged us for it last time too, we thought. We left it there at the time. It was only after getting home that the problem began. The next day, we started getting rashes all over, fever, and body pain. The only person who didn’t have a problem was the one who hadn’t used the hot tub after the chemicals were added. The rest of us ended up on antibiotics and were rubbing ointment on our blisters. Never again for me.

We were there from Friday to Sunday, and I wouldn’t go back if you don’t want extra charges, apparently even for using the toilet!! On Saturday we slept in a bit when the owner came to check the hot tub and work on it. Fine, but did he have to go inside for cleaning supplies during our stay? He “cleaned” the filter, which had been fairly clean that morning, added chemicals, then left. By evening, the water was cloudy. When we switched on the bubbles, it foamed wildly, as if someone had poured in a jar of something. Foam spread all over the surface, so we thought he’d added too much chemical. At checkout, they charged us 1000,- for energy use and an extra water change. We didn’t want to argue, so we agreed. The owner said he’d never seen this before and that we were the first. Wrong, sir! You don’t remember us, but you charged us for this last time too, we said to ourselves. We didn’t pursue it then. The trouble started after we got home. The next day, we noticed rashes all over, a raised temperature, and pain throughout our bodies. The only person without a problem was the one who didn’t use the hot tub on Saturday after the chemicals were added, though they had swum normally on Friday. Everyone else ended up on antibiotics and applying ointment to blisters. Never again for me!!!

The outdoor seating was lovely, and there was a hot tub. Such a cozy, beautiful place, with an AMAZING wine cellar.
