On our drive toward Austria, this was an easy place to stop. The rooms were nice and clean, though very hot, with no air conditioning and no decent fan. The restaurant took cash only, so we ate at another nearby place.

The bowling lanes made for a great evening. The hotel itself is basic and older, but it was very clean and reasonably well kept. I didn't always find breakfast very fresh, and it should have been kept chilled, which it definitely wasn't. Some of the food had stopped looking appetizing.

A lovely little town near Brno, and a great hotel. They have excellent wines and bears. We especially liked sitting outside in the square under the grapevines to enjoy the food and drinks.

The wine cellars were amazing, even if the location beats the place itself. If you're choosing a cellar for the night, I'd strongly recommend winery Košulič. For only 150 czech krounds, you get a great tasting that includes some of their best fortified wines.

The design and prices give you the impression of a high-quality hotel and restaurant, but the food and service don't justify the cost. The garlic soup had a bad, artificial taste and cost as much as a main dish at other restaurants.
