We hadn't stayed at Zlaty Lev for two years because of the covid restrictions, so it was lovely to come back. The rooms are still clean and good quality, and Jakub and the rest of the team remain friendly and efficient. The strudel was up to its usual high standard too.

We were there for the Jizerska 50, and the location worked perfectly: near the race start, but still in an authentic Czech village, with shops and restaurants an easy walk away. Right in the center of Jablonec, this quaint boutique hotel has the pedestrian old town district just around the corner. Our room looked out over Kostel svate Anny and the nearby Jizera Mountains. Jakub was attentive to everything we needed, suggested great restaurants, and introduced us to some excellent Czech red wines. A really good mountain town experience, and excellent all around.
