The owners were so helpful and friendly, and our apartment stay gave us nothing to complain about. It’s peaceful here, with beautiful nature all around. We’d definitely recommend it.

We really didn’t want to leave, and we’re already looking forward to coming back 😍. The cottage is basic but cozy, with everything you need. The owner is lovely and helpful, and can suggest things to do nearby.

The peace and quiet is a big part of the appeal. You don’t get campsite noise or lots of people around, and there’s no WiFi and barely any phone signal, which might actually suit these busy times. The cottages are clean and nice, with drinkable water. The owners are very pleasant and are gradually restoring the once popular little family guesthouse at the edge of the property. It used to be connected with the cottages, and they saved them from falling into complete ruin. They still make a great place to stay, especially if you like retro. My one gripe is that the rooms have curtains instead of doors. There are four cottages set apart near Žďárské vrchy, with a meadow outside the windows and forest all around. A forest asphalt road takes you most of the way, then the last few dozen metres are on rough tracks straight to the cottages. They’re open year round. Each has a living room with a kitchen and TV, two bedrooms with two beds in each, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. There are heaters and a stove, plus a fridge, kettle, and microwave. Outside there’s a basic seating area and a fire pit, and you can buy firewood from the owner. There’s nothing essential missing. I can only recommend it.

A bit punk in its setup, which is just what we like. It’s quiet, peaceful, relaxing, and private, and we’d happily stay here in winter too. If you want nature right nearby and don’t need the latest trends, fancy kitchen gear, or cell phone reception, bingo. But if you’re after a hotel and luxury, this isn’t the place. We’ll definitely come back.
