Hotel Královka

The hotel is truly breathtaking, and our room was comfortable and clean. We had daily service, and the hot tub was a lovely extra that we used a lot. The reception team were friendly and professional, and breakfast and its service were nice and super fast. What made the stay so special was Honza. From the moment we came through the door, he was smiling, attentive, and superb. He remembers guests and their conversations, and goes above and beyond. He arranged so many special requests for us, including roses on Sunday in the middle of the mountains, which are still gorgeous. He also recommended and booked horses for us, one of the best experiences my partner and I have ever had. He organized our transfer in a lovely Mercedes with ROMAN, another star who was extremely helpful and even came back for us on his way home. That’s amazing, top league service. I’d love to steal Honza for my hotels as a GM, or find someone as rare and incredible as him. We felt like royalty. This was one of our best stays ever, and I highly recommend the hotel. The team are incredible and a credit to the company. Thank you for everything. We can’t wait to return in 2 weeks. You made “another hotel in the world” feel extremely special. We spent 2 nights in a room with a jacuzzi and left underwhelmed, especially for a hotel of this calibre. The apartment didn’t look like the pictures, and the tiny living room sofa wasn’t adequate. There was little storage, no nets on the windows, and an extremely loud speaker by the door. The place seemed geared more toward families with small children than couples. We also had little privacy in the outdoor jacuzzi, which didn’t look clean, leaving us unsure whether it’s cleaned between guests. The water was only lukewarm on both nights, and wellness services weren’t included in the room price. At the restaurant, some dishes were good, while others were below average and overpriced. The hovezi vyvar tasted bland and unsalted, almost watered down, and the foie gras was excessively fatty. The outdoor bistro played loud music that didn’t suit the atmosphere. Hygiene checks are needed regularly. These problems significantly affected our stay.

There’s parking on site, and the restaurant can accommodate large groups if arrangements are made in advance. We were served quickly by pleasant, client-oriented staff. The restaurant at Kralovka Sun terrace is luxurious, with a broad range of international dishes, including options for meat eaters and vegetarians.

The people and service were very nice, and the location is beautiful. The materials are quality and everything seems well thought out. I enjoyed the jacuzzi in the snow, but would gladly give up that perk for ecological and cost-saving reasons. Still, it’s a pleasure to see this level of service and workmanship. Good job!
