The owner’s a cool guy, and there’s a comfortable, easygoing vibe. Good Pilsner Urquell, too.

The hotel itself is acceptable, but the food was below average. The staff were rude and unfriendly throughout.

A great building.

We loved the food, especially the buffet at breakfast and the lunches and dinners, which all felt like a real treat. The chef was kind and happy to add things, make adjustments, and accommodate requests. The bar was pleasant too, and the children’s instructors were great. The kids were delighted with them, even though we expected the fifth graders to have plenty to say about it. Our rooms were lovely, clean, fresh smelling, carefully looked after, and really cozy. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained, with lots for both children and adults to do. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, always ready to lend a hand. We’re very grateful for the wonderful week at the nature school. Mr. Dan took such good care of us, and we enjoyed the whole stay so much that we’ll definitely come back.
