The views are lovely, the rooms are a decent size and the beds themselves are comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were okay, but that was about all I liked. Getting there is a hassle: you leave the car in the valley, buy a cable car ticket, carry your things to the lift, then walk about 15 minutes to the hotel while staff bring the luggage by snowmobile. It was snowing hard when we arrived. The rooms were not cleaned, just the bins emptied. The sheets were old and stained, the bathrooms dated, the toilet seats broken, and there was a strong mould smell. Meals were disappointing too. Breakfast had little choice, the juice dispenser often failed, and there were hot dogs and hard-boiled eggs. Dinner was a strange-looking soup that was mostly cold, then a choice of chicken or meat. The chicken was okay, the meat rock-hard. My guess was that the soup tasted of leftover meat and burnt onion, and the kids tried it but always said no. If you're vegetarian, it's rice or pasta with cheese. You are stuck there for dinner because the last lift up leaves at 16:00. The recreation area is one double-room-sized space, with a few toddler toys around the edges and a ping-pong table in the middle. The bar is small, with a tiny TV on a window. There are no TVs in the rooms, or they don't work. I can't find a good reason to recommend this place or come back. Very disappointing.
