The cottage is beautifully renovated and best for up to six people. Behind it there's a fireplace, simple seating and two swings, with the forest right next door. Deer and hares come to graze in the nearby meadows, and we even saw a herd of wild boars once. It's in a lovely, almost secluded spot with a great view and hardly any traffic. The nearby train station wasn't an issue at all, with only about four trains passing in a week. Highly recommend.

Behind the cottage are a fireplace and swings for children, and there's a well right in front. It's nicely styled and equipped for up to eight people, and we didn't lack anything in the kitchen. The only small downside is that there's just one toilet. More annoying were the creaky beds in two of the three bedrooms. The cottage is secluded, near the forest and hiking trails. A railway line runs just above it, but no trains were running. In the village you'll find a shop, pubs, a playground and a church.
