Hotel Slunný Dvur

The wellness treatments were the best part of our four days and three nights at the hotel. The paraffin wrap for hands and feet was very relaxing, and I could feel the effect. The massages and the "Merylin" cosmetic treatment were great too. We were on a half-board package and enjoyed our stay. The food is classic, but tasty and well prepared. The staff were always kind and helpful, ready to lend a hand. Thanks for a lovely visit. We'd be happy to come back.

The hotel's location was a plus, about 10 minutes from the spa. Breakfast was decent, and I liked the bacon and eggs, which they kept replenishing. The vegetables had run out by the time we arrived and weren't refilled. A nice woman from the staff was at breakfast, so the location and her service are why I gave it 2 stars. Otherwise, I'd suggest another hotel. We stayed one night, Saturday to Sunday. The room was small, as expected, and on the first floor we could hear steady noise from the hallway, though it was bearable. The wellness area was small too, with a Finnish sauna that didn't even reach 80 degrees, maybe they were saving electricity. There was no indoor relaxation room with loungers. The loungers were outside and mostly occupied, so the wellness wasn't impressive. We arrived at 5:30 pm, and receptionist Ruslana didn't smile or greet us, just asked for information right away. The hotel was completely full and we'd taken the last room, so that may explain it. She immediately listed the extra costs: wellness was 700 for two, parking 150 for the day, and bathrobe and slippers xxx. Dinner was only available until 6:30 pm, after which we'd have to go somewhere else. Oh well.

Breakfast was my biggest letdown, with very little to choose from. The rooms were on the small side, though clean. The wellness area was also quite cramped, and when several of us were there at once, it wasn't comfortable.
