Hotel Rieger is close to Town Square. You need to make the reservation through Restart Hotel, where you pay and get the room key. Breakfast is served at Restart Hotel, and it was very good.

We both really enjoyed our steaks here. Service was friendly in English, and we barely had to wait. The portions are really big, and the two of us paid about 330 crowns, an amazing deal for the quality. The restaurant isn’t very large, so I’d book ahead if coming with 4 people or more. We highly recommend it.

We stayed for just 1 night while traveling with 2 small kids. The room was clean, cozy and spacious enough for a cot. There was a kettle, which matters when you’re traveling with a small baby. No elevator, and breakfast was at another hotel, but breakfast was very good!

Pizzeria Rieger at Hotel Rieger was the most modern and comfortable restaurant I visited in Jicin. The only pity was the wait for pizza, 30min.

They do make an effort to serve something out of the ordinary, which is nice. I wasn't keen on two things, though: the salad never seems to change, and they don't seem to know what espresso is.
