The rooms are light, clean and comfortable, and breakfast is included. Dinner currently needs to be booked in advance. The hotel has recently been refurbished and redecorated with a tasteful “Jagdhaus,” or hunting lodge, look that suits its location. Staff are nice, and there are good Czech beers.

A few German TV channels are available, though that wasn't really a problem for us. The hotel feels a bit dated, but it's lovingly run. They accommodate individual requests, and the service is excellent whether there are lots of guests or only a few.

We stayed at this beautifully situated hotel while travelling by motorcycle. The cook is great and treated us to very good Bohemian food in the evening. The person serving us was a ray of sunshine, always friendly and had everything under control. Our stay was perfect. We were allowed to park the bikes in the locked courtyard, and we'll definitely book this hotel again.

This hotel is a real oasis of peace near the German-Czech border. It was completely quiet, even late at night. The owner and his team were attentive and friendly, so hats off to them, keep it up! Our room was comfortably furnished, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had a large, deep bathtub. Breakfast had a good selection, with tea or coffee and scrambled or boiled eggs to choose from. Dinner is available at the hotel, though we didn't try it because we usually ate out.
