The wellness was great.

The cold was the last straw. I was here on a work trip during a winter storm and had specifically checked that the heating was on. The owner said it was, but the tiny radiators stayed lukewarm even after I turned them all the way up for several hours. The room and bathroom were still incredibly cold and damp, so I'm leaving early rather than risk catching a cold, even though I paid for two days. There were some useful things in the room: a refrigerator, TV, bed, wardrobe, shelves, mirror and desk. Two towels were provided, and there is a shared kitchen. But the price feels excessive for these conditions. The room was poorly cleaned, with sticky patches in the bathroom, and smelled musty and, to put it mildly, of sewage. That smell may not be the owners' fault. The bedding clearly hadn't been washed, with visible discharge stains on the sheets. I couldn't bring myself to sleep in it, so I used a towel instead. I used my own towel to dry off, as I always bring one just in case. The woman who runs the guesthouse was kind and helpful. It's near the historic center on a quiet street, with a small lot in front that fits three cars, or four small ones. You can also park for free on the street.

The private hot tub was so nice that even an hour wasn't enough for us. They brought champagne and a bowl of fruit to enjoy with it, too. My boyfriend and I came for our anniversary weekend and were really happy with our stay. The rooms are cozy, though I did miss having a hairdryer. The lady kindly lent me one. The lady and the owner were both lovely and gave us tips on places to visit nearby. They made breakfast and dinner themselves, served buffet-style, so everyone could choose what they wanted. The food was excellent, and I have no complaints at all. Five stars from me!
