Service was quick and kind, and the prices weren’t too high. It’s a lovely place to stop for traditional Czech food, whether you’re having lunch or dinner on a trip to or from Austria.

The service didn’t help the experience: the waitress never smiled, checked whether things were fine, or wished us an enjoyable meal. They also charged CZK 215 for a fish listed at CZK 199 without telling us, and the beer was below the 0.3 l mark. The food was really below average. I had goulash with supermarket dumplings, and the steak with cranberry sauce seemed boiled and tasted really weird. The soup had no flavor, thankfully there was Magi on the table. Two days earlier we ate at Bistro Libra, 1 km away, and it was brilliant. Personally, I don’t recommend this place.

The fried cheese was okay. There were four of us in a fairly empty restaurant, but they couldn’t get all four dishes out at the same time. Service was average, and they don’t accept card payments.

A lovely stop on the way to Prague.

The service was great, and they kept checking that everything was okay. The food was very good too. Nothing more to say.
