After we made our Booking reservation, the owner asked us for a security deposit. We thought that was strange, but tried our cards and none went through. We offered to pay the deposit in cash at check-in, and the owner agreed, saying someone would be waiting for us at the property. When we arrived, nobody was there and they didn't answer our messages. We waited 30 minutes in the rain and cold, then cancelled the reservation. The owner refused to refund the amount we had paid. I found my family a hotel, and after seeing other guests' reviews, I believe we had a lucky escape.

I’m already looking forward to coming back. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the setting was pleasant. The owner was kind, helpful, and very pleasant, while the prices were low for Karlovy Vary. A really good stay.

The owner was lovely, and the accommodation is in a peaceful, upscale neighborhood. I’ll stay here again next time.

The bedroom was crammed with unnecessary furniture, including a glass table I nearly cut myself on several times. The bed had a melamine frame, and I was left wondering whether the sheets had even been changed. The toilet was behind an unmarked door, hard to find at night without waking everyone. Getting into the building was confusing too: there were locked doors and no signs in a tiny hallway. If you arrive in the evening or late at night, good luck finding the place, since the house has no sign and the location is useless for GPS. The place is dirty despite being presented as charming. On top of that, the landlady tried to get €200 from me by saying I hadn’t returned the apartment keys.
