For the price, this place is excellent value, and the landlord is friendly and helpful. The location is central, with a supermarket, bakery, taxi, and bus stops nearby. Elisabethenbad spa is three minutes away, and the nearest drinking water spring is a ten-minute walk. The room has everything you need: a coffee machine, toaster, kettle, cutlery, plates, pots, pans, and a full kitchenette with a refrigerator. The only real drawback is having to climb to the fourth floor without an elevator. A bit of exercise, I suppose. It’s ideal for singles and couples, with multiple beds available.

The owner is friendly and helpful, and the central location makes it easy to reach the spa promenade on foot in no time. The place is simple and uncomplicated, good if you’re visiting the film festival or just need a place to sleep. The shared kitchen was pretty germ-ridden.

The service was pleasant, but I’d have liked the accommodation more if cleanliness had been better. The microwave didn’t work, and although you can have coffee or tea, opening the cupboard makes you think twice. It would be worth adding air conditioning: the room is on the top floor and was very hot. The many stairs are also tough if you have trouble climbing or are carrying things.

The price and quality are decent, and it’s a good place, though there was a bit of noise from outside.
