We slept well in the spacious room, which had a separate bedroom for our children. The hotel sits right in the city center on a car-free pedestrian promenade, so it was quiet at night. A couple of things to know: there’s no elevator, which could be inconvenient, and the front desk isn’t always staffed. Check-in uses a code on an iPad, which can be a bit complicated. Those were minor issues for us, and we had a great stay.

The street nearby was pleasant to walk around, with plenty of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was a total letdown, though. We were put in a tiny room on the third floor, with a window facing the neighboring building’s rooftop and hardly any space to move. There’s no elevator, and the common areas were poorly kept.

For the price, this was excellent value. It’s on a pedestrian mall, close to everything we wanted to see and to secure parking if needed. The staff were very helpful, and our room was huge and clean, with a fridge for your beer! Breakfast was delicious and varied, and they fixed the WiFi problem while we were there. Just remember there’s no lift when booking.

The location is good for exploring town, with a pedestrian street right outside. Breakfast was OK, and the hotel is recommended because of where it is. Parking can be a bit tricky: the garage is a 5-minute walk away, and the staff speak only a little English. There’s no elevator and there are many floors to climb, on top of all the walking you do in the city. WiFi is available, but it isn’t stable.
