Palatin

The rooms and breakfast may be better or worse elsewhere, but what sets this small 16-room hotel apart is the owner’s incredible helpfulness and the amazing staff. They took care of our needs in a way we’ll be telling friends and family about, and they’ll surely book here if they visit Karlovy Vary. Special thanks to the lovely receptionist, and to the young woman who remembered our preferred coffee after serving us just once at breakfast. Thank you all, especially the owner, for such a great experience.

We had a nice room and friendly staff, and breakfast had plenty of good, tasty choices. The room was chilly in early March, though, and the bathroom floor was especially cold. From our fourth-floor window, we looked out at an abandoned building.

The hotel was spotless and centrally located, with a delicious buffet each morning. The choices changed a little day to day, and the service was very kind. There’s no hotel parking, and car access is restricted to certain hours, but they can book a nearby space for 16 €/day. We only got the precise parking location the day before we arrived.

Thanks to Denisa, such a lovely and kind receptionist. Breakfast was good too. I’d only suggest stronger heaters, since ours felt so weak that at times they seemed to be off.
