The pool, billiard room, and sauna were excellent, and the hotel is just a minute’s walk from the center. We stayed for a week as a family and booked several rooms. Room 505 was a very large, well-kept two-bedroom apartment; the other rooms were standard but still spacious and comfortable. Staff knew their jobs and were very good. Breakfast was okay, though the cheese and sausage choices were limited. We had a very good stay and would recommend the hotel to all kinds of travelers.

The bedding was so thin, pillows, blankets, and mattress, it was like sleeping on a Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper. The hallway lights kept going out, sinks wouldn’t drain, and there were other plumbing problems. We also had constant hot water trouble, and the room TV looked like it hadn’t been replaced since the '90s. They don’t provide binoculars, either. The food was excellent and the staff exceptional, but that’s about where the good parts end. I haven’t stayed somewhere this crappy in a long time. I highly recommend it to anyone who knows what service and normal living conditions should be.

Our double room felt more like a two-bedroom apartment. Breakfasts were wonderful, and the staff were very polite. I recommend it to everyone.
