Petrovický mlýn

The quiet and all the animals around the meadows more than made up for the distance to the shop and the roughly 2 km walk to reach the forest for mushrooms. Chickens, sheep, cows, horses, and more were about. There aren't forest trails nearby, so you walk along roads, though hardly any cars pass, and the area isn't suitable for strollers. Still, it's a lovely spot for hiking, cycling, or trips to the Sázava. The owner is kind, and the two beautiful domestic cats are sweet too. The rooms and mill were tidy and absolutely clean, with enough dishes to cook just about anything. It felt like a place from a fairy tale, and I enjoyed my stay enough to want to return. A good fit for nature lovers who'd rather skip standardized hotels and guesthouses.

There are so many lovely hiking trails nearby, and Petrovický mlýn feels made for anyone who enjoys nature and quiet. The owner was very helpful. I'd be happy to return.

The accommodation is older, but it was perfectly adequate, tidy, and smelled fresh. The owner was accommodating, and breakfast was delicious, especially the great pancakes and top-notch jam. If you're after a peaceful spot in nature rather than wellness, I definitely recommend it.

We were seven classmates and had a really good time. There’s a pub at the accommodation, and the host was great. The setting is quiet, with sheep, pastures, and a stream. Don’t come expecting luxury, since the place is built around other priorities. It has a beautiful sense of history, and honestly, TV and Wi-Fi would only get in the way.
