The staff were amazing and helpful, and the location was ideal for exploring the Jizerské mountains. We stayed one day and night for a teambuilding event. The restaurant and bar were good, and our room was nice, with a beautiful bathroom and a comfy bed.

The rooms are very basic and simple, and a small fridge and hot water kettle would make them better. The beds are on the hard side, which is probably where you notice the official 3-star rating most. We spent three days here with small children. They have all the basics in place, breakfast was okay, and the sauna was good. The children’s playroom was really nice, and there’s a self-operated lift for kids just outside. You can also borrow little plastic sleds for them. The restaurant is acceptable and the prices are very fair. Service can take a while in peak season, but in the mountains it’s fine to take things slowly. The chicken, spinach, and Ricotta cheese dish is really good.

The staff are what make this hotel special. We’ve come back year after year, and it feels like coming home. They’ve built us a fire and even shipped things we forgot. They’re always willing to go above and beyond.

We only stopped in for the restaurant. The food is typical Czech, but good quality, and the service was very friendly. The area nearby is super nice, and I’d highly recommend going for a walk.

We’ve been waiting over an hour for a burger. Tables that arrived well after us are being served while we’re still stuck waiting. Terrible place if you’re just passing through and looking for food.
