Hotel La Fresca

Kroměřiž is a beautiful town with an amazing park, and one of the places worth visiting in the Czech Republic. The hotel sits right in the town centre, on the naměsti. My room was clean, spacious, quiet, and nicely furnished in an old style, with a pleasant view of the naměsti. They support ecological cleaning, and there’s an elevator for older and disabled guests. I thought the price was decent. The restaurant menu could offer more variety and better food. Service could be friendlier, though one of the women serving was kind. There’s no free parking or parking available through the hotel, and nothing like a playground for children.

The customer service really stood out during my two-week business trip. I had a luxurious room with a nice view, and the service and attention to customers were awesome. One night I got back from an outing with colleagues at about 2 a.m. I’d left my room key with the receptionist before going out, but she had already closed up and left. I called the backup number for help getting into my room, and someone got woken up to help me. They saved my night, and I really appreciated it. Top notch 👌 👏 I look forward to coming back and would recommend the place to friends and colleagues. Emmanuel.

The location is great and the view is lovely, but the service was very bad for the price. The stay costs over 100 euros a night, and the breakfast is poor. Unless you come at 7 a.m., you may find empty trays and just two sausages floating in water. There was no fruit or vegetables, and the yoghurt was cheap. A total disaster.

A nice hotel, though it could have been better. There was no overnight receptionist, the hairdryer didn’t work, and my room wasn’t cleaned even though I put the “Make my room” card on the door. The receptionist did apologise, which I appreciated. Breakfast was alright, and I loved the macarons, a nice touch. Three stars feels deserved.
