Penzion Jurášek

I've only tried the restaurant so far, but it was clearly a five-star experience. The food looked stunning and tasted excellent, and the staff were friendly and provided great service. It's kid-friendly too, and the location seems very relaxing. I'm already looking forward to coming back, maybe to stay overnight and try the spa.

The restaurant is wonderful, both the food and the service, and the penzion Jurášek looks lovely. I especially enjoyed the steam sauna, and the spa itself is nicely done, but it's quite small. Two very loud children who were day guests could be heard even in the relaxation room, so it was impossible to properly relax. The walls are also so thin that you can hear people talking outside, doors closing, the elevator, and even music from outdoors. For a group or congress hotel it may work, but I can't recommend it to guests coming to relax. It's a real shame, because this could be a little treasure in Beskidy. For this price, though, you can get much better value.

The setting is beautiful, with lovely walks nearby and an excellent outdoor pond for swimming. The breakfasts were the letdown, especially for such a luxurious and expensive place. The food felt bland and more like what you'd get at a mid-range hotel. It could have been five stars, but those breakfasts...

The chef is really good here, and you should try the Czech cuisine, especially zebro, kolano, and of course the beet. The hotel is a lovely place to relax and spend quality time with family, with only 15 rooms and one suite. The wellness area is very well equipped, with Finnish, Turkish, and infrared saunas, a bania, and more, plus a nice, cozy swimming pool. A superb four-star hotel and definitely worth a visit. Really good deal.
