The view was lovely, though I wasn't keen on the garlic soup.

We had lunch on the terrace on a lovely day, looking out toward the monastery and cathedral. The menu is simple and the prices are low; the food has that same straightforward feel, but it tasted great. Friendly, helpful staff too. We enjoyed the meal and would recommend it.

We came for a drink and the view, and both the scenery and service were great. But my first beer tasted sour, so I sent it back and got a good one. The same thing happened with my second beer. I can only guess the draught lines weren't cleaned often enough and the beer had started to sour in them. I'd expect better, especially in the Czech Republic.

The view was fantastic and the beer was good, but the potato cakes with mushrooms, or whatever that was, came cold and sitting in old oil. After eating them I had diarrhea that lasted a long time and a fever for two days. That's not how I expected my vacation to go. Since other reviews also mention poor food quality, I think the safest bet is to come for a beer or two and enjoy the view.
