Breakfast was spot on. The manager, receptionist and cook were all the same very nice gentleman, who put together a continental breakfast for us 😉 We were completely satisfied with that. The rooms were nicely furnished and the double bed was soft and comfortable. The extra bed, though, was hard as a board. In June the rooms felt quite cold, and the bathroom could do with some attention. The hotel itself is pleasant, though the surroundings feel a bit dark and gloomy. If you don't need a golden shower, it's perfectly adequate.

We got there early for dinner, thankfully, because otherwise I don't think we would've got any food 😀 One man was both cooking and serving. There isn't much choice, but the blueberry dumplings and fried sausage were delicious. The only food option in Kynžvart 😉

We turned around and left without getting in. The place was closed and there were no opening hours posted. A foreign woman came to the door, and when we asked if it was open, she held up five fingers. We took that to mean it opened at five.
