The little spa was a real treat, especially the jacuzzi, sauna, and ice bath. We could book it privately for an hour at a very reasonable price, though I can't remember exactly how much, just that it was low. The area and atmosphere were beautiful, the location was perfect, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. The rooms could use some updating and fresh paint, and the hotel buildings need a bit of TLC. That would make a real difference. We had a lovely stay and hope to come back.

From the start, my stay at the Novy Dum was a disaster. The woman who welcomed us was unfriendly, and that set the tone. She didn't give us the required car park card or explain anything about the place. Parking space 7, where I was supposed to leave my car, was almost in the middle of the forest. Our apartment, number 201, was a little dirty, and nobody cleaned it even though we put up the 'please make up my room' sign. We were left with dirty towels, so I had to go to reception at night to ask for clean ones. I really don't recommend this place.

A lovely bar inside with Pilsner, and charming countryside all around. It's a very good choice if you just want to relax and spend some time resting.
