Hotel Mario

My girlfriend and I stopped by the hotel bar and restaurant for lunch today because it looked good as we passed. We ordered two Kofolas, then lunch. An hour later, we still had no food, so we asked the waitress who took our order. She no longer knew what we’d ordered, and the chef didn’t know about it either. How disorganized and unprofessional can you be? We paid for the drinks and went somewhere else. My tip: if you’re going to Lednice, don’t come here.

We had dinner on the outdoor terrace. The atmosphere was nice, with an orchestra playing outside and people dancing. The food let it down: my grilled cheese was almost cold and the salad under it wasn’t fresh. The grilled vegetables were far too salty.

The chicken pasta was good, but I wouldn’t recommend the duck breast. It was arranged very nicely, yet tasted horrible. There was also a swarm of flies for some reason, and the staff could be more customer oriented. Nothing special.

We didn’t get to eat here. They asked us to wait 1 hour 20 minutes for soup that was already prepared. The place looked fancy, so maybe it’s worth trying if you have enough time to wait.
