Pytloun Wellness Travel Hotel

Over three days, we had several disappointing moments, and the price felt far too high for the comfort on offer. The building seems poorly made, with very thin walls and wooden floors. We could hear other guests talking normally and walking around their rooms; when the hotel was busy, voices and footsteps just carried on, making it impossible to rest properly. Wi-Fi was only available now and then, and the signal was weak. At checkout, four people were at the desk, but instead of handling the quick process, they spent several minutes looking at a fruit mixer and trying to work out what was wrong with it.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the hotel itself looks lovely inside and out, with an interior that feels more upscale than its three-star rating. The service during our one-night stay didn’t match that impression. We met two receptionists who were rather curt and robotic, though not rude, and other guests we spoke with felt the same. For laundry, we were told to fill in a form in our room, but there wasn’t one. The receptionist did the laundry anyway and asked us to collect it by 10 pm, yet the desk was already locked at 9:55. I picked it up the next morning, and everything was damp. The hotel’s “tapas” were dry cakes at 6 pm, probably left over from breakfast, and nothing else.

Jan, the manager, was especially helpful and gave us good tips for getting around Liberec. The staff were hospitable and very nice throughout, and the breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed having the saunas, massages, and hot tub available. It was a great stay, and I’d gladly come back 👍🏼.

The wellness area was just the relaxing break we needed during a birthday weekend with friends. We had such a good time and felt well looked after. Filip and Jan were wonderful hosts, and we really appreciated their hospitality, especially the birthday song and prosecco 🥹❤️. The breakfast buffet was yummy too. Thank you!
