With a week of good weather, Lipno nad Vltavou is a five-star family spot, even with three kids. The apartment had everything we needed, was well equipped and a good size for five, and it’s close to the ski lift. There’s also an automated grocery store nearby that’s open 24/7. For the water park, I preferred Frymburk to Lipno. It has a pretty good sauna area, including a sauna for kids next to the pool.

We only stopped in for dinner, but the view and relaxed feel made it a lovely meal. Now I’m curious what it’d be like to stay too. I’d like to come back with friends.

The staff were really helpful, and there’s an extensive menu with options for most tastes. A nice spot for a meal or just a drink.

The location is good, and the apartment has plenty of supplies. Any problems we ran into were sorted out quickly. The kids club was a real disappointment. It didn’t feel welcoming to foreigners. Our children weren’t greeted or included because they don’t speak Czechia, which I found very sad and inappropriate for a kids club.

There are lots of attractions nearby, and the bungalows are very spacious. We did have an ant problem, but it was taken care of quickly after we reported it. The main downsides were the noise. The bungalows aren’t soundproof, so you can hear the neighbors easily, and the staircase squeaks quite a bit.
