Hotel Romantik

We don't recommend it. On arrival, we waited an hour for someone from reception, and the room was cold with plaster fallen off in room no. 7. Cleanliness was fine, and Hotel Romantik matches its price, but breakfast was a disaster. The lady said there were already lots of people and she had no more pastries, and couldn't bring any fresh ones. At 150 CZK per day, you'd be better off making breakfast yourself for less money and at least having a proper meal.

The location is convenient, with a bus stop right nearby, an excellent cafe and Coop supermarket across the street, and parking beside the building. It's dog friendly too. The hotel was spotless and modern, with fresh towels provided automatically each day and fast WiFi. Breakfast deserves a special mention for its wide selection: cereals, sausages, fried eggs, omelettes, salads, caprese, juices, coffee and plenty more. Even picky eaters should find something.

It's a great place to stay for a walk near Schroth's spa, thanks to the excellent location. This cozy family hotel was spotless, and the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast had a generous range of options, not just sausages and scrambled eggs. Both of us highly recommend it.

We stayed in June 2021. As a guesthouse, it was quiet, clean and tidy, with decent breakfast and nice, helpful staff. But the 4* label on booking doesn't fit what we experienced. Staff were only around at breakfast, a dog ran around the kitchen, and reception was usually empty, so information came by phone. I missed having a minibar in the room. Drinks were available only from a self-service fridge in the dining room. There's no hotel restaurant, and not many nearby choices either. It's fine if you expect a guesthouse, but don't expect the services of a 4* hotel.
