We spotted this charming restaurant while passing through and stopped for soup and svickova. The food tasted amazing, and the service was really good, with such nice staff. When we ordered tea, they brought us a complimentary cake, which was so sweet.

The meal came out quickly, and the staff were kind. It’s a handy lunch stop when you’re driving through, since there aren’t any fast-food places around. You can eat outside and look out over the Czech forests, too.

There’s a grassy area with a sandpit to keep the little ones busy, plus pleasant outdoor seating. The pub is especially popular with cyclists and people visiting the nearby zoo, an easy ten-minute walk away. The menu is good, and the food is well cooked and nicely presented.

The place has a cozy feel, with boar-themed decorations everywhere :) The coffee was great, and so were the Czech dishes, especially the garlic soup and the wild game, like boar and deer.
