The bathroom was very clean, and the rest of our stay was okay. The carpet, though, needs a serious deep clean. Vacuuming doesn’t seem enough, it looks like it needs chemicals and a specialist company. We could hear other guests clearly because the rooms are poorly soundproofed. The staff members we met spoke very little English, and there was no information about gluten-free bread. There’s no reception late at night, but they can leave keys in a locker.

The beds were horrible. Breakfast was okay, but nowhere near luxurious. The service staff didn’t seem very attentive or happy, and would head out to smoke whenever they could, or just leave the premises when they felt like it.

On our bike trip from Prague to Dresden, we stopped here for the night. The room was clean and really comfortable, and our bikes were kept safely in the hotel backyard behind a locked gate.

The location is beautiful and the prices are reasonable. By hotel standards, though, I wouldn’t call it a three-star hotel.

The rooms were clean, and the location was good.
