The staff were friendly, and everything was clean. Even though the bathroom was shared, I always had it to myself. The road noise was a real bother, and morning light coming through the window made it hard to sleep. WiFi was unstable, and when it did connect, it was extremely slow, not good enough for a hotel.

Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The Czech food, though, was terrible.

The breakfast was the highlight for me, really delicious. The accommodation was great value, with a bit of a countryside school feel. The ski pass discount and lift just behind the house were useful perks too.

The rooms are small but nice, and you're very close to the ski slope. We weren't told ahead of time that there would be no evening skiing on two occasions during the holidays, which was a downside.
