It’s a lovely spot for getting away from the city, and it’s dog friendly. Our room, the bathroom, and the shower were clean. The owner was warm and service minded, waited up when we arrived very late on our first night, and was flexible about breakfast times. You could also buy dinner made there, and speaking English with her was no problem. The road to the house was bumpy, as others have mentioned, but even with my old, tired car we got there without trouble.

A peaceful place with modest but well kept rooms, good food, and draught beer. The new owners are fantastic, and it’s a great starting point for exploring the amazing Jizera Mountains. You can’t pay by card, but they were fine with us paying in zlotys or euros. I’ll definitely come back, highly recommended.

We had a great stay, and it was very cheap: 250kc/ night and 25kc for beer :) The rooms were very fine, the food was nice, and there was Wifi throughout the building. There’s nature all around, with quiet enough to feel like your best friend, plus lots of lovely walks, especially to the Bramberk tower. Highly recommended.

It’s moved in a positive direction. The place now looks more like an ordinary low level pub, though customers still use profane language about 20% of the time. It used to look like a drug den, and even walking past didn’t feel safe.
