I arrived at Chata Jeřabinka on the right date and at the agreed time with a confirmed, fully paid reservation, but was told there was nothing under my name. I showed the confirmation emails and booking details, yet the staff couldn’t offer another place to stay or any other solution. I was left in a foreign location without accommodation, help, or even an apology. That’s completely unacceptable service and a total lack of responsibility. The hotel’s later claims about what happened aren’t true. I have their written confirmation that my reservation was valid, as well as an SMS sent the day before arrival confirming the requested start date. I strongly advise people to check their booking again, or avoid this place if they need to know their reservation really exists.

We keep falling in love with Mala Upa. It felt like a beautiful, local experience, and breakfast was 10/10. Thank you for being so kind 🌞😊 Thank you ☺️

It’s a nice hotel in a small, cozy mountain village, right next to the ski lifts. But the customer service and communication were disappointing. We had to cancel at short notice because our driver had a hospital emergency, and we couldn’t travel without leaving our family member alone with severe breathing problems. We asked through Booking.com for a reduced cancellation fee, but were charged the full 100%. Normally, cancellation charges aren’t allowed to reach 100% in the EU, since the hotel saves on food, cleaning, water, heating, electricity, and so on when guests can’t arrive. Booking.com’s terms are stricter, though, and can impose conditions on customers. Sadly, the hotel management showed no cooperation or understanding, not even a little.

The room was modern and clean, and the bathroom was nice. The location was good and the service was nice, too. Breakfast was good, though it could use more fruit. There were too many sausages!
