The meals were the standout for me. Breakfast and dinner were phenomenal, and the desserts especially good. Rooms were very clean, and the pools and saunas were generally nice and well maintained. The pools are on the small side, though, and can get overcrowded at busy times. I went in expecting a lot from the massage, but it was basically 50 minutes of oil being applied, which was disappointing. From what others told me, several treatments seem to be like that. If you're young and healthy, I wouldn't recommend booking extra spa treatments. Most guests are older. Roughly 70% are Russian, 20% German, and 10% Czech. Staff mainly speak German and Russian, sometimes Ukrainian, while English speakers are rare. There's also a Wiener Café for coffee and sweets, but its desserts aren't as good as the main restaurant's.

The restaurant food was disappointing, with little creativity at either breakfast or dinner. Most of the service staff were friendly, but a few weren't, which left a very negative impression overall. Treatments were quite good and the therapists very friendly. My room was OK and the bathroom seemed fairly new, though the furnishings made the room feel very dark.

We came all the way from the United States for the spa, but left after an hour and a half instead of staying the three hours we'd planned. The spa pool and the bubble spa, or jacuzzi, were both cold and uncomfortable, far from what we expected. The staff didn't seem welcoming. When we told the woman at the front desk how unhappy we were, she didn't seem to care. I'd book another spa. It felt like they were happy to take our money without making the visit enjoyable.

We came for the baths, but the water was cold in every pool. Both hot spring bath pools were cold, the jacuzzi's bottom jets pushed uncomfortably cold water, and one massage pool was so cold we couldn't get in. The steam sauna was out of order. When I told staff about these problems, they ignored me, didn't apologize, and offered no compensation. Their excuse was that the other hotels had even colder water, so this counted as good business. We paid 30000 Kč for a week's spa stay, yet couldn't enjoy the mineral baths, which were the main reason we came. I found that unacceptable.
