The Czech food was fantastic, and the service was good too. One waitress spoke English, which helped since my Czech is terrible, and we managed just fine. Do yourself a favor and order the salad, it was delicious.

We only came for dinner, not a night’s stay. The beer was really good, and so was the food. We had cheese, potato pancakes, and pickled sausage.

The wild boar ribs with potato pancake were delicious and came in a generous portion. Service was friendly, the beers were tasty, and the prices seemed fair. I'd definitely recommend it.

Lunch at "Dobrý kanec" in Melnik was a lovely experience. The staff were courteous and spoke English well, and both the soup and main course tasted great. The atmosphere made it feel like we'd gone back centuries.
