I ordered a salad for my girlfriend at the restaurant, and it was terribly dirty. There was soil on the leaves. At one point she felt sand between her teeth, then saw that the green salad leaves at the bottom of the plate were filthy. Terrible. It felt like total disrespect for customers.

On a Sunday afternoon, it was great to find a place serving something besides fish in Třeboň. That seems pretty rare outside the tourist season. The food was great, and the service was great too.

The location is great and the beer is good, but the food is only average and definitely overpriced for its quality. If you’re looking to have a couple of excellent beers, though, it’s a really good choice.
