The reception staff were pleasant, and the hotel’s spot is ideal, right by the square on a charming street lined with restaurants and cafes. Our room had its own entrance from the street, with “hotel room” written on the door for uninvited visitors. It stayed quiet overnight, though, and nobody showed up 😂. Cleaning could have been better: we found a forgotten sock under the duvet. Parking is in a public lot by the pond dam, about 800 m away. Breakfast is served nearby at Bily konicek inn on the square, not at the hotel. It was fine but nothing special, and after 9 am there was no replacement for what had run out. Local regulars were already having beer and shots there from half past eight, though the service was nice.

A pleasant receptionist was helpful, and the little hotel is close to the center. Our room was nice and had a kettle and fridge, but it could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Street noise woke us at three in the morning, so nights can be busy. You can only stop at the hotel briefly to unload or collect luggage, since there’s no parking there. The city center is just a few steps away, with plenty of restaurants, a mirror maze, excellent ice cream, and shops.

The room was nice and had standard equipment, and bikes can be left in the yard. The hotel also offers car parking in a nearby lot. It’s a small hotel right in the center, just a street from the square. Breakfast is arranged at Bílý Koníček hotel on the square, and it’s worth it. The lady owner was very pleasant and helpful. If we return to Třeboň, we’ll most likely stay here again.
