We’ve been coming here for 16 years, and it’s still an amazing place. There are plenty of welcoming, professional staff who speak several languages, which makes the check-in desk’s behavior especially hard to understand. While we waited in a long queue, we saw the receptionist tear up documents and act aggressively toward customers. People were laughing and calling her “the old witch from hell.” Why put someone like that on the desk on check-in day? They really need to replace her. I found her unprofessional and racist.

The friendly, pleasant staff and much-improved food made this my best visit yet. I’ve stayed here three times, mainly for the surrounding nature. Maybe the change in management has something to do with the food, though I’m not sure. Recommended.

We came for the day so the kids could swim. They had a kids’ pool and a water slide, and we also enjoyed walking through the grounds down to the river.
