I arrived without a booking and still got a nice, clean room with breakfast at a reasonable price. It's very close to the town center.

We were both delighted with our one-night autumn stay in 2025. The room was clean, breakfast was perfectly adequate, and the staff were friendly. Just keep in mind that the building is very old.

The staff's attitude is what gives this hotel its kind feel. At reception, the smiling owner welcomed us. He seemed well educated and had been there when the hotel began and was reconstructed in the 90s. The historic building still has its own spirit, and the quiet location in central Prachatice worked very well for us. Everything functioned as it should. There's no elevator, so guests with limited mobility should mention that when booking and ask for a room on the 1st floor. If modern luxury isn't what you're after, I highly recommend it.

Helpful receptionist, adequate breakfast, and clean, spacious rooms. You can tell the renovation was done some time ago. The hotel is in a good spot and stays quiet, with good value for money.

Fantasy! The owner is nice and proud of the place. It's an atmospheric old house that's been turned into a hotel very sensitively. Simply fantasy.
