There are plenty of cycling routes to set off on from here. It has a warm, family-run feel, and the homemade wines, marmalades, syrups and other things are a nice touch. The rooms are a little small, but the accommodation price, breakfast included, makes up for that.

Breakfast at the shop on site was excellent, and you can also pass some time there tasting good wine. The guesthouse itself is small, but works perfectly as a starting point for visiting local wineries.

The apartment was fine for sleeping, and the location worked well for the Open Cellars Festival weekend we booked through the website. Almost half the wineries were right next door, and there was a bus connection too. The accommodation's own winery was farther away, about an eight-minute slow walk. Our apartment slept 4+1 people; the smaller rooms were right beside the winery. We did miss a better-equipped kitchen, though. There were no soup plates or even a ladle. We heated the apartment with the heaters.
