The staff were what made this stay awful. The host, Jana, was incredibly rude, and there was nobody at reception. We just got a blunt message that basically said to handle things ourselves. Booking said nothing about parking or city tax being extra, then we were suddenly told there was nothing more to pay because we hadn't had breakfast. It felt like a scam, since nobody had said those charges would apply if we did eat breakfast. This was my second stay, just for one night. The room had no air conditioning and the noise was horrible. Never again, it wasn't worth it.

The location is the one good thing, but I was very unhappy with my stay. The bathroom was dirty and had fungus on the walls. The bed sheets were pitted, the kettle was so filthy I was afraid it might poison me, and the furniture was damaged and pitted. There was no reception or hotel staff available to make a complaint. I wouldn't recommend it.

Breakfast is brought right to your room, and don't worry, it's filling enough and different every day. We stayed in a huge, roomy apartment and had a great time. It's a super place right in the centre of Mikulov, with parking in the courtyard available if you ask. A couple of small drawbacks: it was on a lower-ground level, with fairly steep stairs, and the heating was a bit weak in December.
