We’d be glad to stay at Penzion Fontana again. It’s a cosy spot close to the castle and main square, and the owner handled our questions and requests attentively. We’d booked a room that didn’t suit us because I made a mistake, but the owner kindly found another solution and did it with a smile.

The room was quiet overnight, and I liked the firm mattress. It was spacious enough and had a radiator, table, chairs and clothesline. I arrived after 7:00 PM, when reception closes, but they waited for me. He speaks basic English and was very friendly.

The pension is close to the square and has a courtyard where you can sit. We were very happy with our stay. The rooms have air conditioning, which is especially great in summer, and the parking is inside a locked courtyard, so I didn’t worry about the car being broken into.

The town is beautiful, and its people are really kind and friendly 🥰. Our clean, cosy accommodation was near the centre and had parking on site. The owner was very nice, and the place met all our needs. I’d absolutely recommend it 👌

We’ll definitely come back. It’s a pleasant guesthouse near the centre of Mikulov, and a good place to stop on the way to southern Europe. The rooms are clean and roomy, with comfortable beds. The gated courtyard parking was a real plus, since we could leave the car there safely with luggage, equipment, skis or bikes. The staff were friendly, and for an early departure you can open the gate yourself and leave the keys in a special box.
