There’s plenty to do nearby, from hiking to climbing. We planned routes with Komoot and went climbing with Roman Kasparek. Some sites are only in Czech, but guides and excursion providers often speak English or German. The apartment is spacious and fairly priced, though the comfort matches that price. You’ll need to carry luggage up several flights; ours was on the third floor. Restaurants, a bakery, and a supermarket are only a few minutes away on foot. A lovely base for exploring the region.

The owners were lovely to deal with and quick to help whenever we needed anything. The apartment was very nice, too.

There’s plenty of space and the room layout works well, but the attic is a real drawback. Getting suitcases up the stairs is a hassle, and when the sun heats things up it feels like an oven. The air conditioner can’t keep up.

Everything was clean, and the owners were really pleasant. It’s a good fit for a short stay, especially for people who don’t need much.

We found the place comfortable, very clean, and well equipped, with the owner easy to communicate with. It made a great base for visiting Prague, the Czech Paradise, and the Liberec area. Nothing to complain about, I’d happily recommend it.
